Floriana vs. Màcro is a temporary project of dalaki label-founder Joerg Schuster from Dortmund, Germany and Paco Malmarot from Madrid, Spain. From 1977 to 1979, both lived together as childs in a camp in Heleyala near Busher, Iran. That was where the people stayed who worked on the nuclear reactor under construction by KWU/Siemens. Which has recently been in the media quite a lot - the Germans built that once. A lot of foreign people, English, Spanish and French, stayed in this camp. Joerg and Paco finally got in contact end of 2006 by an international Schoolfriends-Community and and found out that both had developed a passion for electronic music, so they decided to produce a 'personal reminiscence album' which reflect their shared memories from that time in Persia.

The project Floriana vs. Màcro was born and their album Heleylah Sunset is packed full of deep emotions, fears and memories from that time. Most photos inside the booklet of the first Dalaki edition are original ones from 1977. Old Super 8 mm films from that period were watched to get in touch with this formative time again and caused very strong memories.

Most genres wouldn't match to describe the style and atmosphere of this album, roughly it's a unique mix between Electronica, IDM, Jazz and Deep Tech. Get in touch with the memories of Joerg and Paco and follow them into their journey, however the story will come to an end.
