dalaki says hello and welcome to Emmerichk Esquivel from Mexico-City, one of the biggest metropoles worldwide.
His experience with electronic music started in his childhood. While his father was a great fan of electronic music, Emmerichk discovered Kraftwerk and other acts from this ages in this very early age. 14 years old, he got access to a studio in Mexico-City and slowly learned how to handle and program drum-machines and synthesizers.
Nowadays his style has processed into a wonderful mix of micro-click beatwork, deep evolving pads and sound carpets, always open to drift into dubbier elements.
After some very great releases on labels like Filtro or Yuki Yaki, we are very thankful that he decided to contribute to our first label-compilation.
With C1 he developed a great example of combinating his major ingredients into his his unique trademark tracks. Slow-starting and steadily progressing, C1 develops to a deep mover with a special distant funkyness.
